Playful stop

Bus, train and subway stations are distinctive features of the contemporary city, which is managed and molded by its own fluxes and movements. Although they can be fast and efficient, the wait will always occur, representing an anonymous lapse in a space portion. Due to the lack of its essential nature it defines a moment of urban unconscious. In a passive position, the citizen is assaulted from images and can’t interact with the surrounding space. Thus, on one hand he is subjected to brand bombing and on the other he chooses to withdraw in a solitary activity(mp3, smartphones, reading books). The playful virus attacks this mechanism.

Crucivurbe proposes itself as an interactive tool, transforming the wait in a shared and entertaining moment. Playing represents the first step to reclaim our time and design the public space in a synergic and dynamic way.
